BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia shifted to a rented house in Gulshan Wednesday night.
She has rented the house on Road No. 79 in Gulshan-2. Tanvir Islam, son of BNP leader Qamrul Islam, owns the house.
Since her eviction from her Dhaka Cantonment house on November 13 last year, she had been staying at her younger brother Shamim Iskander’s house at Gulshan-2.
The parliamentary special committee on constitution amendment yesterday sent invitations to the chiefs of the ruling Awami League and Jatiya Party, and the main opposition BNP to join talks on potential changes to the republic's charter. 
The main opposition BNP has demanded that the Election Commission move to deploy the army to ensure free and fair municipal polls next month.
