Zimbabwe were 41-2 in 16 overs against Bangladesh in the third of the five-match UCB ODI series at the Harare Sports Club ground on Tuesday.
Vusi Sibanda was the last wicket to fall for 27 off Rubel Hossain's bowling.
Skipper Brendan Taylor (4) continued his poor run of form being caught in the slips off Shafiul Islam.
Bangladesh, who trail the series 0-2, won the toss for the first time. They will be desperate not to allow the hosts to clinch their first ODI series in five years. The last time Zimbabwe won one against a Test-playing nation was 3-2 at home against Bangladesh in August 2006.
Bangladesh made a few changes from the squad that lost the second game by seven wickets. Mohammad Ashraful, Shahriar Nafees and Abdur Razzak are all dropped. Junaed Siddique, Nazmul Hossain come in while Shuvagoto Hom makes his debut.
Zimbabwe, on the other hand, made one change replacing Ray Price with Kyle Jarvis.
